Do your kids love anime? If so, then they will surely be delighted to own a decent collection of anime wall scrolls. My niece and nephew collect wall scrolls of their favorite anime and they always ask me to buy them one as a present. Good thing, there are now a number of web stores selling this particular type of wall scroll. Therefore, parents who are planning to buy these can easily do so without having to leave the comforts of their home. You can just browse through the available wall scrolls offered in different online stores selling them and then make the purchase using Paypal, credit card or any other payment method accepted by the merchant.

Just like when searching for free wallpapers, I highly suggest that you take as much time as needed in buying wall scrolls to ensure that you will be getting value for your money. Wall scrolls featuring anime characters now abound in the internet so finding the favorite anime of your kids won’t be that difficult. Choose from Naruto, Soul Eater, Astroboy, Athena wall scrolls, and more.

It would be a good idea to ask your kids what particular type of wall scroll they want and which anime character they like to ensure that the one you’ll purchase is something that they can really appreciate. After all, you are buying the wall scrolls for them so their opinion matters.

There are hundreds, even thousands, of video games but only a few reigns supreme in the space arena. Space is considered as the final frontier for phlebotomy training classes and it gives the opportunity for us to become creative when it comes to making concepts especially in the realm of video games. If you want to get your hands on the best strategy-based space games, you need to know which ones are worth the fight.

Homeworld
Deemed as one of the few games offering uniqueness, Homeworld has three dimensions for gameplay. It also has a well-written narrative and mechanics which makes it more memorable and enjoyable.

Alpha Centauri
This is the game of a thinking person. The game incorporates Civilization with geopolitics, philosophy and customization of Master of Orion 2. Critics claim Alpha Centauri is way better than its predecessor.

Starcraft
Known as one of the most popular games ever, Starfcraft takes pride in its multiplayer mode. Millions play it all around the world and they can choose among the three races to play: Protoss, Terrans or the Zergs.

Starcraft 2
Known as the sequel to the best RTS game of all time, it has a long single player campaign and a strong multiplayer mode like the first game installment of Starcraft.

Master of Orion 2
This was designed to be a 4X turn-based game. 4X stands for Explore, Expand, Exploit and Exterminate.

X3 Reunion
This game is part of the X Universe. Dubbed as one of the most complicated games ever created, it’s designed as an open-ended space game.

Galactic Civilizations 2
This is a sequel to the first version of Galactic Civilizations. GC 2 is considered to be superior in every aspect as compared to GC 1. The player must dominate the galaxy planet by planet using all types of tactics: force, culture, technology or diplomacy.

Sins of a Solar Empire
This game integrates a few aspects of the 4X genre and it features a huge scale that is unmatched by any other RTS games.

Star Wolves
Though smaller in scale than any other games in the list, this game enables the player to control a squad of space ships.

EVE Online
Dubbed as an MMO, this game boasts of its grand strategy when it comes to gameplay. The events in the game are results of the decisions of players.

Most of these games include space battles, ship fleet wars and many more. Many find it amusing and at the same time, de-stressing to bring out all the guns and shoot the enemies until there is no one left standing. A huge part of the video gamers is comprised of males, but females also get attracted to playing RTS games. If you want to know more about RTS space games, you have spotted the right place.

Are you familiar with StarCraft? If not, here is a short overview. StarCraft (SC) is a computer game which uses real-time strategy. It was introduced in 1998 by Blizzard Entertainment and has similarities to Warcraft II, but SC has a space opera setting while Warcraft is set on a high fantasy background. This was considered as the best-selling computer and video game of 1998. StarCraft’s original plot revolves around the zerg’s arrival in the Koplrulu Sector. The zergs will later on invade the protoss home named Aiur.

Another RTS space game is the Gemini Wars from the independent publisher Camel 101. This game features a campaign controlling fleets of ships in a number of battles. Gemini Wars allows you to become a “fleet commander” by starting with a group of frigates. You need to climb up to control battleships and engage in enormous battles. The game features three unique factions which possess different strategies and units, capacity to control fleets of starships, planets and space stations, cinematic battle camera, multiplayer action and many more.

The Imperium Galactica is another RTS game that is characterized by graphics which can be considered sometimes as “excessive” with the numerous special effects made to the delight of video gamers. Players have described Imperium Galactica as a game which has been able to create mind-boggling images, graphic clarity and sense of scale. This has been able to produce three versions: the Imperium Galactica I, IG II and the IG III. Imperium Galactica promises to give gamers the chance to colonize systems, manage their colonies and customize their warships with a wide selection of cool gadgets and powerful weapons.

With all these great real-time strategy space games, it is expected that you will try many if not all. The key to success in these kinds of games is focusing on the battle and fighting it all out until the very end.

Once the hype has gradually died down, reviews of the recently released iPhone 4s has finally surfaced with less than stellar ratings for the said unit. After all the hype and publicity, it is quite sad to realize that the iPhone 4s has very little difference to its predecessor, the iPhone 4.

Of the myriad of features and applications, aside from the obvious improvement on the camera, it all boils down to only 3 noteworthy new features. If you would like to consider its looks, there are very few improvements. The iPhone 4s looks pretty much like its older brother, including the screen size, materials, and placement of the buttons. The only new additions are the glass panels in both the front and back of the phone to make it look classier. Both Glass panels have oleo phobic coatings, though, so they are not very attractive to fingerprints and facial grease.

Another improvement from the newer version is the addition of two built-in antennas, which solves the network issues of the previous model. The previous iphone received bad reps regarding dropped calls and reception issues. This time, Apple solved these problems by adding another antenna where network reception and calls can be handled better, with the hopes that people will not be compelled to learn how to unlock iPhone 4s just for that issue.

Finally, the most noteworthy change in the iPhone 4s is Siri, which is part of the built-in iOS 5. Voice recognition technology is highly improved on the phone and Siri is considered as a smarter voice recognition software than those featured by other smartphones. It is not yet clear though if Siri will still work on iPhone 4s unlocked units.

Gamers, like me, do not just stick to the adrenalin-pumping shooting, space-based games. Sometimes we also crave for a good scare, and that is why a lot of serious gamers dig scary space games as well. Survival horror space games have become really popular since their inception. This particular game genre has developed a solid following that consist of avid video, PC and online gamers.

Let me tell you my top 5 scary space games and the reason why they often scare the hell out of me.

#1 – Dead Space

Among the horror space games that I’ve played, Dead Space is definitely the scariest. If you haven’t played this game yet, which is impossible if you are an avid horror gamer, then you better try it out and know firsthand how downright scary it is. Dead Space can scare the living days lights out of you, and I’m not exaggerating because I’ve already played it a lot of times but still get a good scare every time. It is basically a third person shooter horror space-based game that was developed by EA Redwood Shores, also known as Visceral Games. The game centers on Isaac Clarke, the role that players take when they play the game, who is an engineer that need to fight his way out a mining starship that has been infested by grotesque and hostile monsters, referred as ‘Necromorphs’. Many gamers dubbed Dead Space as the scariest game ever. This is mainly because of its high fear value which is accentuated by the game’s deferred lighting and real-time user interface. The second sequel of the game, Dead Space 2, was released on the 25th of January of this year.

#2 – Doom Series

If there is any horror space survival game that can go head to head with Dead Space, it will definitely be the Doom Series. This first-person shooter game is the brainchild of ID software, which focuses on the exploits of an unnamed UAC (Union Aerospace Corp) space marine who have to fight hordes of demons and the undead to ensure his survival. Released somewhere in 1993, this game classic has won the hearts of many horror space game fanatics. If you like to enjoy better graphics and a more realistic game platform, then you need to check out Doom 3. Pump up those speakers, turn off the lights and start playing the game. If you don’t get a good scare while playing this game, then maybe you are not from this planet. I almost get a heart attack when I played the game or maybe I am really just a scaredy cat. Doom 3’s excellent graphics help a lot to set up the spooky ambiance.

#3 – System Shock 2

This is a first-person RPG space game that was released in 1999. System Shock 2 is the sequel of System Shock, a 1994 PC game that was developed by Looking Glass Studios and Irrational Games. Set on 2114 on board a starship, players of System Shock 2 assumes the role of a soldier who tries to contain the outbreak of an unknown genetic infection that has desolated the starship. This game may not be as scary as Dead Space or Doom 3 but it sure provides a very intense playing platform. It also offers excellent visuals and superb game effects.

#4 – Unreal 2: The Awakening

For Unreal 2, players take on the role of Marine John Dalton who is a Terran Colonial Authority Marshall tasked to patrol remote space areas. Dalton was called back to retrieve pieces of an ancient artifact that is believed to be a powerful weapon once assembled. This game certainly has some scary moments that can terrorize players, particularly the younger ones. I, on the other hand, do not find Unreal that frightening but I admit it did give me a few good shocks while playing the game.

#5 – Martian Gothic: Unification

This horror space game successfully welded a classic-adventure style puzzle gameplay into a real, action-based interface. Martian Gothic: Unification offers excellently rendered graphics and decent sound effects thus giving players a great space gaming experience. The horror adventure presented by the game is also very gruelling and it is very much capable of providing a great scare in more ways than one.

Despite the proliferation of a lot of other cool and interesting games, many are still addicted to playing cool car games. The thrill that car games provide just never dies down. This is perhaps because of the fact that game developers continue to create more challenging car-based games to keep people interested. And with the emergence of the World Wide Web, playing car games is not only limited to your trusty game consoles. The growing number of people who loves to play games online allowed a lot of gaming websites to generate huge profits.

Today, playing car games does not require one to download the whole game to their computers. There are a wide range of gaming websites offering web-based car themed games that do not necessitate to be downloaded. All you have to do is visit the exact website url of the car game that you wish to play, wait for it to completely load, and voila, you can now start playing.

Another great thing about playing online car-based games is the fact that you can compete with players living across the globe. Of course, this will depend on the type of game you are playing, but there are some that support a multi-player gaming platform.

Over the coming years, newer, more amusing and arousing games will be introduced online. But one thing is for sure, car-based games are here to stay since they already have established a solid and loyal following.

Avid gamers will have their own set of opinions as to what space games can be considered as the best among the rest. And you can’t blame them because each gamer, even me, will definitely have a particular space game that I would love to include in the list of the best.

So, here is the rundown of some the greatest space games of all times, at least according to my opinion. Please note that the space games below are listed in no particular order.

Super Mario Galaxy

There has been much debate if I should include Mario’s space trip adventure in the list. It may not be designed purely to be an RTS space game but since Mario is out for a galaxy adventure I’d say it should definitely made the cut. The Super Mario franchise has always been a success and Nintendo absolutely take any Super Mario project seriously. If there is one thing I have proven in the many years I have been playing all kinds of Super Mario games is that all of them are simply amazing and undoubtedly entertaining. This is exactly what Super Mario Galaxy offered gamers, like me. Graphics were fantastic as ever and the game oozes a lot of creativity thus making it all the more engaging to play. With Super Mario Galaxy’s impressive visuals coupled with challenging game levels and a streamlined pick-up-and-play approach, this game is indeed one of the best space games I have ever played.

Mass Effect 2

Any avid RPG space gamer would agree that Mass Effect 2 should be included in this list. This rich, action-packed and very challenging space adventure provided gamers a very entertaining gaming platform. It is the sequel of the also successful ‘Mass Effect’, the very first installment of the game. The game efficiently combined RPG with adrenalin-pumping shooting actions. While some call it RPG with strong emphasis to shooting, others branded it as a third-person shooter with some RPG element on it. But no matter, how they see this fantastic space game, it is undeniable that Mass Effect 2 was one of the best and finest RPG space games of 2010. But if you ask me I consider it best space game of all time.

Shadow Complex

This award-winning space game definitely deserves a spot here. Shadow Complex gives gamers a lot of great playing options, such as challenge rooms where they can test their gaming skills, a number of power-up opportunities, and in-game notifications allowing them to keep a competitive game with friends.

Other great space games that have surely earned the merit to be included in the list include Star Wars: X Wing, Elite, Project Space Station, Dune 2 and Outcast.
